Semper Tek receives Kentucky SDVOSB Certification

Semper Tek, Inc. received the Kentucky Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Certification on August 18, 2016. Our firm is one of the first nine businesses in the Commonwealth of Kentucky to obtain the newly-created certification.

Semper Tek, Inc. is already verified through the Federal verification program. This new program creates additional opportunity to compete for contracts with state agencies.

The KY program was created through the legislative process earlier this year. HB 183 established the KY SDVOSB Certification as a way to promote and enhance business opportunities for Veterans in the Commonwealth, and other states with SDVOSB certification programs.

Semper Tek, Inc. was invited to attend the signing of Bill 183 into law August 5, 2016. Our firm is excited about the small business advancements, specifically those for Disabled Veterans, that Governor Bevin is creating in Kentucky.

Our firm was one of the first wave of Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses to obtain this voluntary certification administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Our firm is committed to excellence and professionalism for our clients, which includes the Department of Veterans Affairs. Our verification is  valid through Sept 2017.
