As a small business, Semper Tek is fortunate to have such incredibly talented and intelligent people working in every aspect of our business.  There are large businesses and corporations who have not amassed the caliber of individuals as we have been able to in our nine years of operation.

Our firm has seen significant growth in the last couple of years. Recently we expanded operations and opened a new office in Valdosta, GA, to focus additional efforts on opportunities in the Georgia and North Florida areas. Mr. Santiago Iturralde, Southeast Vice President, will lead our efforts to facilitate a competitive approach in this area.

Our corporate office in Lexington, KY is also making some changes within our senior management team to better define roles and responsibilities. Our goal is to utilize the expertise of each of our senior managers so that we can excel and provide the best level of service in each area of our business to our clients. This new management approach will make our firm stronger and better equipped for continued growth.

Jason Brinkmoeller has been promoted to Senior V.P. and will continue to be responsible for field operations. In addition to the operations side, Jason will assume overall responsibility and over site of our corporate safety program, and project scheduling procedures.

Eric Boursaw is taking on a new role as General Superintendent. He will be assisting Jason Brinkmoeller in the management of our field operations.  In this role, Eric will assist the onsite field managers and PM’s with technical issues, project scheduling issues, project resource needs and cost control.

In addition to heading up our Southeast office, Santiago Iturralde will be assuming corporate over site of our business development and marketing operations. Additionally, with his experience and education as a professional Architect, he will have primary responsibility for the coordination and design quality control for our future design/build projects.

Van Jenkins is being promoted to Vice President and will have over site for all pre-construction services including estimating, pre-construction deliverables’ and our corporate quality control program. In addition, he will be responsible for project budget and cost control procedures and implementation.

As the Corporate Business Manager, Emily Jenkins will continue to have over site of Human Resources, Accounting, and IT functions at the corporate level. She will also assist the Southeast office with implementation of administrative processes.

Scott Matheny, President, will continue to have overall responsibility for corporate finances, strategic partnerships/planning, and project/program risk analysis. Scott will also be focus more of his time on client, partnership and vendor relations.

Each member of our Semper Tek team is a valuable asset and is directly responsible for the growth that our firm has experienced in our first nine years. We are thankful that we remain a small business so that we are able to fluidly make adjustments like the ones we are announcing today. We are constantly focused on being the best so that we can fulfill our company philosophy of excellent customer service, on-time and in-budget project delivery, and a high-quality finished product.
