This complex project included demolition, new construction, and site work on the 5-acres surrounding this newly acquired property by the Huntington VAMC. Our work began with the demolition and removal of some of the existing structures. New construction included steel framing to connect the two existing structures; a new elevator shaft; mechanical, plumbing, electrical utilities work; asbestos remediation; interior walls; interior finishing; paint; and drainage repair and grading of the surrounding site. New walkways and roads were also constructed.


This new community based outpatient clinic is part of the Ft Knox Army Hospital campus.

Building 5 Mental Health

This Design-Build project provide a elegant office layout for this Mental Health Services Department.

5th Floor Expansion

This highly complex project involved demolition and the new construction of a fifth floor addition on top of the VA Medical Center, Cooper Drive location, in Lexington, KY. The elevator shaft and stairwell were also extended as part of this project.

This compact job site requires excellent coordination with all subcontractors and hospital facility personnel to ensure the safety and progress of the job. Semper Tek, Inc. erected a crane and precisely scheduled its use with all subcontractors to complete their tasks for the project. Safety and Health Protocol were carefully followed, specifically for dust, noise, and infection controls so as to not interfere with the patient care and daily activity of the hospital. The fifth floorwas finished as executive offices and meeting spaces.

B323 HVAC Renovation

This project consisted of a major Mechanical Renovation to the entire 30,000 SF facility. 

Continuing Care Facilities, PH 1

This highly complex project involves the construction of two approximately 11,000 sq ft Continuing Care Facilities, which have been designed using the latest “Green Home” and small home patient-centered care concepts. Each facility contains 10-beds each. Additionally, our firm will perform the installation of site utilities, parking lots, and infrastructure.

The involved disciplines for this project include general construction, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, exterior improvements, and utility systems.
